Rice recipe with vegetables and mushrooms
- 300 gr. of rice
- 100 gr of trumpets of death
- 16 large mushrooms
- 1 onion
- 1 pepper
- 1 leek
- 2 carrots
- 12 young garlic
- 5 cloves of garlic
- glass of white wine
- extra virgin oil
Preparation of the recipe for rice with vegetables and setaqs
Cut 3 cloves of garlic into slices and put them to brown in a pan with a little oil. Finely chop the onion, pepper, carrots, leek and garlic and incorporate them. Remove the mushroom stems, chop them and add them. Season and let stand until golden brown.
Pass the trumpets of death through water and add them. Briefly saute and add the rice. Mix and pour the water (double and a little more than rice). Cook for 20 minutes.
Put 2 cloves of garlic in the mortar, add a little salt and mash them. Pour some oil, chopped parsley and the White wine and mix well.
Place the mushroom hats in a baking dish. Season them and pour over them, a little of the previous mixture. Enter in the oven at 200 ° C for 20 minutes. Serve the rice in a bowl, and place the mushrooms around.
The trumpet of death cannot be eaten raw or undercooked since it is indigestible. You have to cook them for 15-20 minutes. Therefore they are indicated to prepare recipes with a prolonged cooking such as soups or rice.
